Coming to Leyte for a vacation is always one of the highlights in my annual calendar. The most special of this vacation is I am celebrating my birthday with my whole family.

It was a simple yet meaningful celebration. We dine in at Otso Restaurant, one of the finest restaurant in Tacloban that offers seafoods.

Summer 2007 Vacation

Summer time is almost through as the rainy season signals with its drizzles every afternoon. But I am still hoping to catch the warm of a Summer vacation in the province. I am staying in Manila for almost 10 years and only goes home during holidays. Everyone in the family is here so spending a vacation here is more than "home sweet home."

The excitement is different with this vacation, aside from the fact that I can still enjoy the beach even if it's late May already. There are two big celebration in the family.

I will be celebrating my birthday with my family after celebrating a couple of birthdays away from them. And the big news is I will witness a day of love - my sister's wedding day set on June 03, 2007.

May 29, the excitement begins as I flew back to Leyte. Rest days from heavy work as PA/Writer/Editor of an IT company and NGO.
